Last week, the cultural events department from the Embassy of Japan in Iceland coordinated a visit by professional kendama players. Davide, representing Krom Kendama, and a few colleagues came by to give a demonstration on the ancient sport, and then let the kids give it a try! Student volunteers excitedly stood up in front of the school and showed their kendama skills. The demonstration ended with a gift of kendamas for the school, and we are happy to say that they get a lot of use by both students and staff! They have even been utilized in a physics lesson on intertia!
